Is it normal to have blurry vision after cataract surgery?
AUG 29, 2015
Question:
I had cataract surgery six weeks ago in my left eye and vision has been good after surgery. For the last week I wake up each morning with blurry vision and it stays that way for five to six hours and clears up in the afternoon. It's like looking through a fog. What is the reason for this and should I see my ophthalmologist?
Answer:
This could be slight swelling in the cornea or perhaps blood cells floating in the front chamber of the eye that can subside as the day goes on. Definitely see your ophthalmologist to get this "cleared" up.
