Are there non-surgical treatment for upper lid retraction available?

Question:
I'm interested in non-surgical treatment for upper lid retraction. Is this available?
Answer:
In general, upper eyelid retraction is treated with a short outpatient surgery performed under a local anesthetic during which the effect of the levator (or Mueller's) muscle is diminished. This can provide long term eyelid height improvement. It may be possible to place a small amount of filler into the eyelid to drop the lid as well. An experienced ophthalmologist / oculoplastic surgeon can discuss this with you.
