Sleep Medication and Dilation
JUN 03, 2013
Question:
Can over use of sleep medicine cause pupil dilation in one eye only?
Answer:
No, generally not. Any systemic medication that can have an impact in pupil function should affect both eyes. Unequal pupils, while often normal, can be a sign of a serious problem and evaluation by your ophthalmologist is recommended.
