    Question:

    Answer:

You do not give me much information here. The eye is like a camera and it sends the electrical impulses of the images it perceives on to the brain where it is all integrated into sight as we know it. I am not aware of any condition of the eye that would account for the issue of seeing objects backwards. But I suspect unusual visual complaints like this could occur from issues affecting the vision centers in the brain. I suggest that you take your father to a neuro-ophthalmologist (a subspecialist ophthalmologist.) who has credentials in both ophthalmology and neurology.
