Can Conjunctivitis Restrict Dilation?
JAN 24, 2013
Answer:
Conjunctivitis would have no effect on the ability of the eyes to dilate. However, red and irritated eyes diagnosed as conjunctivitis may actually not be conjunctivitis but may be caused by other things, such as iritis, which can affect dilation. Certainly a thorough examination by an ophthalmologist will explain these symptoms.
