Is frontalis sling surgery reversible?

Answer:
There are techniques that can weaken or undo a frontalis suspension. The eyelid droop will likely return to its presurgical state of ptosis (droopy eyelid).
A levator resection procedure can be performed after the sling is removed. The success of the resection however is dependent on the degree of ptosis and muscle function, which is likely limited.
