Question:
Is an eye stroke easy to diagnose without an eye angiogram or MRI?
Answer:
Yes. There are classic findings of a "cherry red spot" in an eye stroke or central retinal artery occlusion. Additionally a dilated eye exam may reveal evidence of plaque in one of the small blood vessels of the eye blocking blood flow.
