Can an "enlarged" iris be repaired or replaced?

Question:
Can an "enlarged" iris be repaired or replaced? I was hit in the left eye and the injury or trauma caused the iris to be enlarged and dropped. I have had a lens implant already, but was wondering if an iris can be replaced.
Answer:
There are devices and sophisticated micro-procedures that can restore an improved cosmetic appearance from traumatic iris damage. These devices are uncommonly used and sometimes require an exemption from the FDA in order to be used. Please see an ophthalmologist If she is not familiar with the use of these devices, you can ask for a referral to one who is.
