Should I have retinal hole surgery?
FEB 20, 2013
Question:
I have been told that I have a hole in my retina and that I need surgery to correct it. But I’m 83 years old and am not comfortable going through with this. If I choose not to have the surgery will this become worse or will it stay the same? I can still see pretty well but have chosen not to drive as much.
Answer:
This depends on the type of the hole and consultation with your retina surgeon is advised.
