Do you lose your depth perception when you have cataract surgery?

Answer:
Depth perception is best when both eyes have good vision. Cataract surgery can improve vision greatly in the operated eye and there are "bifocal" intraocular lenses for near and far vision (standard intraocular lens are calculated for near or far vision, but not both). It depends on the vision in the other eye for depth perception.
