    Will it cause long-term damage to your vision or eyes to loosely cover them with a dark blindfold all the time? A friend has been doing this for about a year in an attempt to prevent headaches. I'm quite worried so I hope you can give me an answer.

    No, it will not cause long-term damage. The retina and optic nerve in the eye can be considered portions of the brain rather than arms or legs, so no weakening or "atrophy" should occur with covering the eyes.
