Is it possible for thyroid medication to change the prescription of my eyes? I am taking a new medication and my vision seems to have improved. My old glasses seem clear and my new contacts are difficult to focus and fuzzy.
This is not typical and I would wait a month or two for stabilization on the medication. Any medicine can have a unique effect on the eyes. Once you feel things are not changing, go back to your eye doctor for a new measurement and this should take care of the problem.
