Is it concerning that my pupils are returning to normal at different rates?

Question:
I had my eyes dilated for a routine examination today. Should I be concerned that my pupils are returning to pre-dilation conditions at different rates? I have one normal pupil and one far from normal.
Answer:
If you have always had normal and symmetrical pupils, they probably have returned to normal. Dilating drops can reach our eyes in different doses, so the transient "recovery" may be asymmetrical.
