Is it a problem that my orthokeratology lens shifted in my eye overnight and made my eye bloodshot and sore?

Question:
I am a 17-year-old female. This morning, I removed my orthokeratology lenses (contact lenses worn only while sleeping, which then temporarily correct vision the day after) one of which had drifted to the inside corner of my eye. Naturally, my eye was bloodshot. However, the corner of my eye has remained bloodshot throughout the day, and feels irritated. Eye drops stung when I put them in (both the rewetting and the tear stimulation type); they do not usually sting for me. Additionally, when I tried crying, I found small spots of blood on the tissue (though no blood came out when I was not crying.) Is this serious, and should I go to my doctor? Or is it something that will clear up on its own?
