Denise Satterfield, MD, is a clinical professor of ophthalmology at the University of California, Davis, and a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus. She completed her medical degree and residency at the University of California, Davis, followed by a pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus fellowship at the Smith-Kettlewell Eye Research Institute in San Francisco. Dr. Satterfield is a volunteer member of the Academy's Patient Education Committee and the 2012 recipient of the Byron H. Demorest Memorial Award for Excellence in Pediatric Ophthalmology.
