Dr. W. Barry Lee, MD, FACS has practiced ophthalmology in Atlanta for the last 18 years at Eye Consultants of Atlanta, a large multi-specialty ophthalmology practice affiliated with Piedmont Healthcare. His specialty is cornea, cataract, ocular surface disease & refractive surgery. He is a graduate of the AAO's Leadership Development Program from 2010 and is a recipienet of the AAO Senior Achievement Award. He is co-medical director of the Georgia Eye Bank and serves on its Board of Trustees. He served as President of the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology from 2017-2018. He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Cornea Society and has served as Scientific Program Chair, Vice President of Industry, and Secretary. Additional Honors include Best Doctors in America, the Paton Award from the EBAA, and the Science & Innovation Award from Piedmont Healthcare. He is coauthor of the textbook, Ocular Surface Disease: Cornea, Conjunctiva, and Tear Film.
