Academy/AAOE Benchmarking Survey
What is the Benchmarking Survey?
| The Academy/AAOE Benchmarking Survey is a web-based survey to help you measure practice efficiency. | |
Why Participate?
- In the face of the Baby Boomer onslaught you need to make sure you are operating efficiently in comparison to your peers.
- Survey has been designed to ensure the privacy and security of the data you submit - Review Academy Terms of Service & Privacy Policy (PDF 60K) for details.
- The greater the participation, the more specific the reporting functions.
- Statistically reliable and comprehensive data will help the Academy in its advocacy endeavors.
Getting Started?
3 Steps to Participate
- PRACTICE REGISTRATION
Make sure you are eligible to participate in the survey (details below) and then log in with your Academy/AAOE username and password. Note: If you registered for FY 2006 and/or FY 2007, you do NOT need to register for FY 2008, your demographic data has been saved.
Register Now
• In order to register you must enter your practice’s Federal Tax ID.
• Only ONE set of data is allowed per practice. Therefore ONLY one individual per practice should be designated as the authorized data entry person (respondent), and only one user-account will be issued by the Academy per practice.
- PRACTICE DATA ENTRY
Fiscal Year 07 data entry is now closed. Fiscal Year 08 data entry will open in early 2009.
- AGGREGATE DATA AND REPORTING TOOLS
Members will be notified when submitted data has been approved.
Reporting
- Access the reporting tools once your data has been approved. You will need to login using your Academy/AAOE login name/password and then enter the Benchmarking login name and password you created when you registered.
- Please note: Identifiers specific to your practice will be stripped from the final data set, and the number of data sets displayed in the reporting tools (either the complete aggregate set or any filtered set as defined by the user) must be equal to or greater than fifteen (15) complete data sets.
- Tools are provided to help you interpret your data.
- Reporting tools are only available to users whose data has been submitted as final and approved
